Dear WMOA Homeowner,
April 2, 2024
On Saturday and Sunday April 27 and 28th the Windham Mountain Club will be hosting a large-scale active scenario training event aimed at local/regional/state first responders. It is called Active Attack Integrated Response and is being coordinated by the Training Division of the Greene County Sheriff Office in conjunction with WMC Safety Manager, the Chief Security Officer, and the First Aid Manager. The training event will include members of the WMC First Aid and Security Teams as well as several Law Enforcement Agencies, Local and County EMS Providers, and local/regional Fire Agencies. The training event will include live action scenario-based emergency responses. The Windham Mountain Club Lodge, Facilities, and parking lots will be closed to the public during this event, and there will obviously be a heavy Emergency Vehicle and Personnel presence in and around the resort facilities that weekend. The WMC asked us to notify all residents and make you aware of the situation so that they don’t feel a need to call in and report or ask about an emergency occurring in the area that day. Furthermore, in the interest of overall safety, that the public and all nonessential WMC Staff and Personnel refrain from utilizing the WMC facilities and facility/building adjacent properties areas during this training event period.
I will reissue this email again as a reminder as the event date nears.
If you have any questions about this planned training event, please contact Zeke Pease (Safety Manager) or James Pushee (Chief Security Officer).
Thank you!
