Dear Homeowner,

First, I would like to wish you all a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years Holiday.

Our annually scheduled Owners Meeting is set for the 3rd Saturday of January, the 27th at 3pm.  I am not sure yet if it will be an in-person meeting or a Zoom meeting. I will send out an agenda with the details by January 15th.

Our meeting is always attended by Chip Seamans, General Manager and Kevin Kennedy, Director of Real Estate.  This year I plan to invite Mr. Sandy Beal, owner of WMC, and Kristen Leach who is the Director of Membership for the WMC.  Obviously there has been much confusion about the direction of the Windham Mountain Club and how it effects our homeowners and their property value.   Is it going private, what do we get for our Membership fee of $175,000, what does the $9,000 annual dues buy us, will we be able to buy Season Ski Passes, can we continue to buy day and weekend passes, is Icon going to honored?  We on the Board of Directors are very much aware of all these concerns and are also trying to sort it all out for you.

In the interest of getting all our answers from the mountain, this Annual Owners Meeting is the perfect time to do so.  To this end I am asking all of you to gather your questions and send them to me via email by the first week of January.  I will gather them all, consolidate repeat questions and send them to the Mountains Management team for review.  I will ask them to prepare their answers for discussion and review at the meeting.  There will be no Q&A with the management team during this meeting.  We have a time constraint and must get the business of the Association completed.  You can reach out to any of them directly or ask me and I will follow up for you.  In your email, in the subject line, please write WMC Questions.  This will make it easier for me to identify.  Your question goes into the body of the email, and be sure to provide your name and Windham address in the signature line.

These questions will also be inserted into the Meeting’s Agenda for all to review.  I will not include the names of the individuals providing the questions.

We will also review the WMOA’s accomplishments this past year, our financial situation, and other mountain related issues that have or may arise before the meeting.

Best regards to all,

Charles Presti – WMOA President
