The official grand opening of the brand new Peak to Peak hiking trail at Windham Mountain.
The trail is approximately 1 mile long (one way) and is a moderate activity level. From the West Peak summit of Windham Mountain the group will follow signage and green trail markings on a guided hike, stopping a few times to learn about local wildlife and vegetation. Complimentary bottled water and snacks will be provided once the group arrives at the East Peak. From there, the group will have the option to hike down Wanderer (an easy 2 mile green-level ski trail) or take the Peak to Peak trail back to the West Peak and ride the chairlift back to the base. Please dress appropriately with hiking boots, light clothing and bug spray.
The hike is free, but a Skyride purchase required ($14 for adults, $10 for youth ages 7 – 17). Skyrides may be purchased online in advance at a discount here, or on site on the day of at Windham Mountain Bike Park. The hike departs from the summit at 10:30am on Saturday 7/20/19 and the Skyride takes about 10 minutes, so plan to arrive around 10am to make sure you make it to the summit for the hike.
