Windham Mountain Resort Announces Purchase of the Resort by Beall family and Kemons Wilson family  through its investment arm Kemmons Wilson Partners (KWHP).

Dear Windham Mountain Home Owner,

I am very pleased to announce that I have been informed by Mr. Chip Seamans, President of Windham Mountain Resort, that the Mountain in its entirety has been sold.  The majority ownership went to Mr. Sandy Beall, founder of Beall Investment Partners, and Ruby Tuesday restaurant chain, and Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners the founding enterprise behind the Holiday Inns Hotel chain.

We believe that this new ownership will be focused on building Windham into a four season destination by improving and building upon our Skiing foundation as well as the Windham Mountain Country Club and surrounding restaurants and hotels.  In my view, this this is a very promising and exciting event.  It will bring increased tourism to our town, and provide new opportunities to our friends and neighbors.

Speaking for myself and based on my interaction with the mountain’s management and staff over the last four years, I am very, very pleased that they will remain in place.  They have always shown a concern for our welfare and a willingness to be good partners with the WMOA.
