If tracking never updates for weeks, I start to worry about the order. A product that still looks good after a few months is more impressive than something only good on arrival. Each material has advantages and disadvantages depending on season and activity. I also check if the lenses have any blue light filter or anti-reflection coating. If many different people say the same thing about a product, it is worth paying attention.

Whenever I find something that actually works well, I tend to reorder it later. I like when a shop clearly shows PD, lens height and bridge width in millimeters. Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking. From my experience, communication with the store can tell you a lot. Many people do not mind waiting if they understand what is going on. When a store shows clear shoulder width, bust, waist and length, it is much easier to choose.
