PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Windham Planning Board will hold a public hearing on February 20, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Centre Property, located at 5379 State Route 23, Windham, NY, to receive public comment on certain applications made in connection with the proposed Windham Mountain redevelopment project. Windham Mountain Partners, LLC (the “Applicant”) has applied to the Town of Windham Planning Board for approvals to implement a new Master Plan for development that will include new residential development at the base of the ski mountain, base lodge improvements, and an expanded adventure center that will offer access to different on-site and off-site recreational activities. The hearing is to receive public comments on a) the Applicant’s request for site plan approval for the expanded adventure center, and b) site plan and subdivision approval for the residential development. The Applicant’s request for certain waivers pursuant to Article 1 Section 6 of the Town of Windham Subdivision Regulations will also be considered. The above-referenced applications involve portions of the total project area that includes close to +/- 245 acres spread over 36 tax parcels in the Town of Windham, Greene County. All application documents, including but not limited to site plan sheets, landscaping plans, visual renderings, and engineering reports, technical comments by the Planning Board’s designated engineer and Applicant responses, and Negative Declaration adopted by the Plannign Board as Lead Agency under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”) are available for review at the Town Clerk’s office and through the Planning Board’s website (https://townofwindhamny.com/boards/planning-board/). Interested members of the public are encouraged to attend and comment. The Planning Board will also consider any written comments that are received. Please note, while upgrades to the existing Windham Mountain Club golf course and clubhouse are proposed as part of the larger redevelopment project, the public hearing on site plan approval for golf course improvements will be held on a future date when an application for site plan approval for the golf course redevelopment is deemed complete and ready for public comment.
